'Sharing to grow' Mike May, Brooms Barn Research Centre

A major cost of sugar beet growing is the harvesting and delivery of the crop. To help reduce these costs many growers have a collaborative approach in the way they undertake key operations. Improving the co-ordination and efficiency of other operations through collaboration can reduce costs further and also increase returns by maximising the yield produced in the field.
